Children 0-6th grade Infants-Room 142 Toddlers-Room 139 Preschool (3 &4’s)– Room 143 Kindergarten (5 yr)-Room 224 1st and 2nd Grade-Room 222 3rd and 4th Grade–Room 223 5th and 6th Grade-Room 205 Youth Grades 7 - 12 7th and 8th Grade-Room 206 Senior High– Youth Room Accepting, Exciting, Relevant! We have teachers who care about students and who can communicate God's truth about issues that matter to teens. College/Singles/Young Adult Class Lighthouse Class-Room 216 Jeff Fuller-Youth Minister will be facilitating a new beginning for this class. If you are interested in this age group or need more information, please call the Office at 731-686-7431, or email: secretary@milanfirst.org Adult Sunday School Classes Path Finders– Room 214 We are a small group enthusiastic about learning and living Gods word through current Christian discussions about how to apply what we are learning so we can become active disciples of Jesus Christ. We are not age specific and we welcome everyone to join our class! Pairs and Spares– Room 212 We welcome all singles, couples, widow/ widowers, to our class full of personalities to have lots of discussion of recent topics and studying current Christian literature. Our age group ranges from 45-60 years old. Adult Sunday School Class-Room 211 The Adult Sunday school class has a good variety of adults wanting to study current Christian literature with the purpose of learning and applying the scripture. Our age range is 55-80 years old but everyone is welcome! We study from Cokesbury and Adult Sunday School Lit. New Beginnings– Room 215 This class is a very relaxed environment that is easy for visitors to jump right in and feel welcome to study and discuss current Christian literature. We offer friendship and opportunities for spiritual growth for ages 35 and up but everyone is welcome! Round Table– Room 213 We are an adult class made up of singles and couples. Our format is one of discussion. We study Wesleyan tradition, United Methodist tradition, and have lively discussions about our faith and what it means to be a Christian. If you are a serious seeker and want to share your faith with others we would love to have you join our class. Irene Holt-Room 162 This is a senior men’s class that studies Adult Sunday School Literature. Our age ranges from 75 and above and open to everyone. Faith and The Week in Review-Room 163/Library We examine some of the major headlines of the past week in light of our common Christian values. Lively discussion, viewpoints range from liberal to conservation, from wide to narrow. Age range 40 to 60. Wesley Class-Room 165 This is a senior ladies class that studies Adult Sunday School Literature. They are involved in many activities within the church are the volunteers of the greeting card ministry. Forum– Room 160 Our current class consists of people in 60’s and 70’s age groups. We use only the Bible to study and discuss. We encourage anyone, regardless of age to come study the bible with us. We take each chapter of a book and discuss it verse by verse. We’ve been through Genesis to Revelations many times and never tire of our study sessions. We love to laugh, pray, and care for one another. We grow spiritually. Fellowship– Room 166 This class is made up of retired couples and singles. We welcome anyone to join in to study the bible together, study Cokesbury and Adult literature, and share our faith. Prayer Fellowship Who: Everyone. You do not have to be a member of the Prayer Team. All that is required is a passionate heart for prayer. What: Call to Prayer – The purpose of this time together is to cover our church’s ministries, leaders/staff and congregation in prayer. When: Every Wednesday from 7– 8 p.m. Where: Chapel Why: We are all called to pray. “If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land.” – II Chronicles 7:14 (NIV)
